The consortium of IKED and Intentac has outlined a proposal to examine, evaluate and analyse flagship real-estate projects planned by The Edge in Dubai. The purpose is to develop a strategy and set of recommendations that can help guide and organise physical functions in tandem with a range of services capable of adding value through high functionality and effective branding.
The Edge is a pioneering developer of new innovative design of real estate in Dubai, whose focus is on adding new dimensions with regard to the content, interior assets and every-day services that are offered to its long-term tenants.
Dubai, similar to other modern centres of booming real estate, faces challenges to allow first-rate architecture and modern city landscapes to be accompanied with branding in regard to content and services to support contemporary work- and lifestyles at the top end of modern society. Key to the modern world is society’s ability to shape an environment that is conducive to the development and use of knowledge.
he project aims to develop, and prepare for the addition of, a unique set of features that can sharpen the image and branding of the particular site prepared by The Edge in Dubai. Applying a model developed by IKED-Intentac, it will be framed with a view to attracting high-profile clients. The approach puts the individual human being and his or her real needs at the core of the service package. Using technology for the sake of the individual, and not vice versa, facilitates the manoeuvring and filtering of flows in the information society. A special focus will be put on meeting with the real needs of the individual human being. The key leverage in this respect will come via use of time and support of health & wellness. The model to be tested offers a sense of “certification” in regards to health and information which potentially can reinforce the value of real estate projects.
