At UNFCCC COP27 in Sharm- El-Sheikh (Egypt), NBS Task Force VI of EU Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Projects was represented by Ingrid Andersson, IKED/URBiNAT, and Maria Carmen Garcia Mateo, MCG R&I/GO GREEN ROUTES. They moderated an EU side event featuring diverse experiences and perspectives by experts from around the world. The panel highlighted ways forward to realise co-creation of nature-based solutions, including how to overcome a range of practical issues, of high relevance for combating climate change.
