The mission of the GTC is to place the individual user at the centre of all digital interactions and to reaffirm fundamental values of legality, integrity and accountability.
The GTC examines and reports on the key issues arising in the use of ICT. The organisation has developed the GTC Global Policy on Enabling Trust in the Digital World (GTC Policy) as a tool for defining the requirements needed for users to enjoy trust in digital communication in the future information society. Its research activities cover the related aspects of technology, legal requirements, economic performance and organisational interactions. To achieve its objectives, the Global Trust Center acts as a:
